The NAS allows user to store and access their media from the internal HDD via FTP or Samba. As a UPnP AV Server it allows other UPnP player to stream media from the internal storage.

EG-M31C supports Internet streaming protocols like WMS over HTTP, WMS over RTSP, Shoutcast and ASF. The Media Service Portal provides links to many popular on-line media sources such as Youtube, PodCast, Google, Yahoo Video, Flicker, Picasa Photo Sharing, Internet Radio, On-line Music, RSS Live news feed, Weather and many other web services.
